Editor's holdings

Kristofer Hickson, the editor of Crowdfund Recon, owns one investment in a company we cover:

The editor intends to hold this investment permanently.

We publish this disclosure directly beside every mention of First Jet Airways Inc. in our issues, database and offering pages: "The editor owns a $180 investment in First Jet Airways, bought October 2026." First Jet is covered like any other offering, with the same checks and the same wording rules. The editor made the investment knowing the checks that apply to its Form C filing.

The editor will not sell this investment, or buy or sell any other crowdfunding security, for as long as Crowdfund Recon is published. That is a full trading ban, not a window around each issue, and we keep a dated log of it.

No other investing

The editor does no other investing while running Crowdfund Recon. That is stricter than a ban on covered offerings: he will not invest in any crowdfunding offering, whether we have covered it or not, for as long as he runs this publication. If this list changes, this page changes first.

No-compensation policy

We accept no payment of any kind from anyone we write about. That includes advertising, sponsorship, affiliate fees, referral fees, free services and equity from any company raising money, funding portal, broker-dealer or other intermediary. We do not accept payment in exchange for coverage, ratings, placement or omission. This is permanent, written policy. Our revenue comes from reader subscriptions. Links to funding portals and to EDGAR are for reference only and earn us nothing.

AI policy

We use AI tools to help gather filings and draft summaries. A human editor checks every fact against the source documents and makes every rating decision. No company is named in a Quiet Raise listing until the editor has completed the EDGAR check and the notice steps on our Methodology page. We tell you about our AI use in the footer of every issue.

Other conflicts

The editor has no paid role, board seat, loan or other tie to any company we cover. If that changes, we will disclose it here and at the top of the affected coverage.
